The legal assistant would be responsible for analyzing title documents and preparing documents for real estate closings and other transactions.
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong research and analytical skills.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Review, assess, and prepare contracts, leases, and other closing documents.
Facilitate communication between mortgage lenders, realtors, property owners, other attorneys.
Maintain files and electronic records.
Conduct basic online research.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to compile findings to prepare well-written, accurate reports.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to collaborate and communicate with multiple parties.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to legally drive.
Visual acuity to read records.
