Hackney is a privately-owned, broad-line convenience store distributor who has served customers for over 130 years and is looking for an energetic and knowledgeable individual to join our Night Shift Warehouse Selector.
We are now accepting applications for a 2nd Shift Selector position based out of our Paducah, KY facility conveniently located off I-24 at Exit 3, Cairo Rd.
JOB DUTIES What Exactly Will I Be Doing? This is a production based job.
You will be tasked with using hand held mobile picking RF system to fill orders for the next day deliveries.
Some lift experience is preferred, but not required.
WORK SCHEDULE Sunday - Thursday 2pm-10pm POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Must Haves Warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
Must have keen focus on safety.
Able to identify best-practices and implement actions to remediate issues.
If hired for Freezer/Cooler, then need to be able to withstand the cold climates.
$1 per hour bonus pay (freezer Bibs/coats provided) Use best practices while selecting.
Reading descriptions of product and selecting correct product.
Able to keep track of paperwork and labels for picking.
Ability to use technology.
Food distribution background preferred but not required.
Must be respectful of others, and able to verbally communicate.
Able to think quickly and stay focused on solutions Be a great listener when interacting with employees and supervisors.
Works well with others, likes to problem-solve Dependable, punctual and work as scheduled Reliable transportation Pass pre-employment drug screen & physical Must be 18
