The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, medication administration, and transportation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs of individuals with disabilities and be able to provide support in a respectful and encouraging manner.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct care to individuals with disabilities in a respectful and dignified manner.
Assist individuals with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
Assist individuals in developing and maintaining social relationships.
Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and other necessary errands.
Maintain accurate records of services provided and document progress of individuals served.
Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.
Provide crisis intervention when needed.
