5 Paid Holidays 2 Weeks Institutional Closing Pay (Last 2 weeks of December) for qualifying positions Employee Assistance Program Job Summary Provides leadership to and direct oversight of all aspects of the Workforce Solutions unit at West Kentucky Community & Technical College.
Job Duties:
1.
Establishes and maintains partnerships with regional trade associations, economic development agencies, and business and industry to identify emerging workforce needs.
2.
Develops and delivers customized training and programs, administers business and industry assessments, and provides continuing education classes to address employer needs, facilitate optimal employment outcomes for students, and strengthen the region's overall workforce.
3.
Creates sales and enrollment goals for the Workforce Solutions unit and regularly monitors progress and contributes to the achievement of these goals.
4.
Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, collaborates with academic leadership and faculty to identify opportunities for innovation in programming.
5.
Directly supervises and evaluates 5-7 full-time employees and indirectly supervises and evaluates up to 50 part-time training staff across the Workforce Solutions unit.
6.
Serves as a liaison between the college and community industrial boards and local chambers of commerce on regional economic development initiatives.
7.
Assists in generating revenue and student enrollment that impacts the level of state funding and overall budget of the College.
8.
Develops a budget that matches campus resources and the goals and operational needs of the Workforce Solutions unit.
Monitors department expenditures to ensure they align with the goals and needs of the unit and the College.
9.
Assumes other duties and responsibilities assigned by the direct supervisor or College President.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in a related field, or equivalent degree+experience 3-4 years of related experience (sales, business, marketing, economic development, etc.
) Strong research, analysis, writing, facilitation, public speaking and project management skills.
Demonstrated experience setting and attaining goals with a high degree of accountability.
Dedication to customer service and serving as a champion of student success for all populations by providing a welcoming and friendly environment Willingness to learn about and embrace all aspects of the college to better serve our students and our community Commitment to the mission of the comprehensive community and technical college and to flexible, customer-oriented community and economic development services Demonstrated collaborative leadership style and the communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with College and community members Professional and personal integrity.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
