The Role:
As the Internal Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our day-to-day operations, focusing on enhancing efficiency, productivity, and profitability within our medical billing agency.
Your expertise will be crucial in streamlining processes, implementing best practices, and leading our dedicated team towards achieving operational excellence.
Key
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage internal operations for billing and RCM teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize billing processes, reduce denials, and improve cash flow.
Oversee the management of accounts, from coding, initial billing, payment and denial posting, AR collections to customer and patient service.
Collaborate with teams to identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity and confidentiality.
Analyze performance metrics, providing reports to senior management and recommending strategic adjustments.
Mentor and develop staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
Master's a plus.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in medical revenue cycle management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven track record of improving revenue cycle metrics in a healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of medical billing software, coding, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement strategic solutions.
