25 an hour Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Specialist manages the processes where new business is acquired and leads are provided to the franchisees.
This position is instrumental in ensuring a successful start to the business relationship and exceeding customer expectations when engaging with the Dippin' Dots organization.
This position will provide consistent following up from the point of the initial contact with the lead to the successful start of new Dippin' Dots retail locations either as a direct account or through the DSD program.
The Inside Sales Specialist will call-on and follow up on account leads generated at DDD tradeshows, pull reports and data from the Dippin' Dots Information Management System, maintain knowledge of the Retail FDMC program and protocol, able to answer and communicate the program aspects to customers and potential customers, respond to customer issues, seek viable prospects, as well as proactively build relationships that will drive growth.
REQUIREMENTS AND
Responsibilities:
Maintains the individual franchisees lists of attachments in DDIM to ensure that sales reporting is accurate.
Acts as a liaison between new retail leads and Dippin' Dots Retail Distribution.
Creates, updates, and maintains new business projections working with the DDF Team to ensure seamless communication.
Provides quality and timely feedback to the franchise community with their requests to add events and venues to their business.
Consistently follows-up through the new customer startup process to drive growth for the division and for our franchise distributors.
Ensures that franchisees are working in their territories to maximize the business potential and that they are in line with their territory goals.
Works with the territory mapping system to ensure that franchisees are working within the guidelines and procedures to grow their businesses.
Provides franchisee contact information to all accepted leads by each franchisee on the master leads list.
Communicates to the new customer on the timeline for equipment set up and product delivery.
Follows-up on all accepted leads by franchisees at the 30-day mark to ensure that new customer set up has been completed and the account is satisfied.
Maintains the pending leads master list and follow up on paperwork for potential customers that are not secured by a DDF franchisee.
Assists in follow up process from leads generated from direct corporate contacts and cold call lead generation.
Provides feedback to all customer inquiries regarding product, service, and our freezer maintenance program.
Identifies potential emerging chains, creating a program tailored to their specific needs, presenting to their senior management, and closing the deal.
Assists with Request to Pursue (RTP) accounts to Franchisees; adding venue to Events module and obtaining SP Agreement from Franchisees, Territory Sales Managers and National Account Managers if venue is associated with a national account.
If the Franchisee has not reported sales by the twentieth of each month, contact Territory Sales Manager via email to reach out to Franchisee to remind them that the information is needed ASAP or possible fine will be assessed/Franchise account will be placed on Hold.
Monitors National Food Service (NFS) SP accounts to ensure that the monthly reporting of units is reasonable with the purchases of products to the account.
Keeps all Franchise Service Provider Accounts up to date and accurate in the Events module and Rolodex in DDIM by processing any account changes submitted by Territory Sales Managers.
Monitors and updates DDIM as SP accounts are closed as well.
Assists the accounting department with regard to the calculation of quarterly rebates for national distribution chains.
Assists in Franchisee and new Territory Sales Manager training.
Travel as necessary.
